When Windows 10 launches later this year, Internet Explorer won’t be your default means of accessing the Internet. (Microsoft users everywhere may have just breathed a big sigh of relief).
For perhaps millions of people who have become dissatisfied with IE over the years, whether it be because of a lack of security, no response errors or having an outdated, clunky look compared to some of today’s most popular browsers like Chrome, Firefox and even Apple’s Safari, the beginning to the end of Internet Explorer.
Microsoft is currently developing a new browser, internally referred to as “Project Spartan” that will overtake IE as the default browser on Windows 10 devices at launch.
“Project Spartan” has three known features as of now, which appear to be an excellent step in the right direction, given IE’s recent struggles.

Samsung is making its latest assault against Apple and others in the battle for smartphone supremacy.
The new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge should be ready for purchase sometime in April.
The new phones appear to be Samsung’s most sophisticated to date, slightly larger than the iPhone 6. They even feature a larger screen and higher resolution than their Apple counterparts.

Do you understand how and when to report a HIPAA related data breach?
In Part Two of a two-part series, Sarah Badahman, owner of HIPAAtrek, appeared on TNtv to discuss the importance of accurate reporting once a HIPAA related incident has occurred.
She said there are two sets of rules. One for breaches involving less than 500 individuals and one for those exceeding 500.
When 500 or less are involved, the breach must be reported to the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) on their website at hhs.gov/ocr/office/. A portal has been set up for this purpose. The breach should be reported by the end of the calendar year.

The clock is finally ticking for those waiting to get their hands on the new smart watch from Apple.
The iPhone-compatible wearable is said to be ready to be released this April.
The Apple website said it will come in a variety of styles and colors. Included are 34 different watch choices and nine default watch faces.
Users can customize them in a variety of ways.
The watches all have the same rectangular design. Corners will be rounded off. The differences in styles will be in the “collections” featuring different materials.
