Make Christmas Great for Needy Kids by Donating to the Holiday Wishes Program at Children’s Home Society
Do you have coloring books, clothing, diapers, dolls, flashlights, and even hygiene products you can donate to needy kids and their families?
The Children’s Home Society of Missouri has created a Holiday Wishes Program to help families in need enjoy a little Christmas cheer during the holiday season.
The organization provides a full spectrum of services and support for children who have a history of trauma coming from a foster care system or have recently been adopted from foster care. They also provide counseling services and support for families and care givers.
These families need the most basic necessities such as a microwave oven, battery operated toothbrush, baby blankets, body sprays, and pots and pans. Any toy or game from air hockey, to hula hoops to Playdoh and clay is also appreciated. Gift cards to stores are also accepted.
ThrottleNet is helping to spread the word about this great program.
Deadline to donate is December 18, 2013. All gifts should be unwrapped. To schedule a pick up or make arrangements to drop off at CHS contact 314-968-2350×255 or email email@example.com.
Special arrangements can also be made with the development staff to schedule a time for drop off at one of the residential locations and meet some of the kids you will be supporting.
