Some define it as having a company to call on when something goes wrong – this is not Outsourced IT Management. Others define it as hiring an internal IT person for troubleshooting and new workstation installations – nor is this. This solution is known as Outsourced Managed Network and is comprised of, but not limited to, the following:

▶▶ 24/7/365 monitoring of your network – hosted or premise based – which sends proactive alerts for any issues that may be detrimental to the performance of your network and, in turn, your business.

▶▶ A robust antivirus, antimalware, antispyware solution that is monitored, maintained and managed in real-time to ensure the solution can identify zero-day viruses – those that didn’t exist yesterday, but do exist today – in addition to mitigating the overall risk associated with malware, spyware and viruses.

▶▶ Backup Management in which a we perform daily backup checks and test restores to ensure your backups are viable in the event of a disaster or complete server failure. Vendor management where ThrottleNet works directly with your technology vendors to resolve issues allowing you to focus on your business as opposed to being stuck in the middle of a discussion between two technical people. The way we see it is if two technical people can talk tech together, issues tend to get resolved faster and without impacting your already hectic workday.

▶▶ Security Awareness Training for all your users in which we review best practices around identifying phishing attacks, safely surfing the web and how to request support from ThrottleNet when you need it.

▶▶ A dedicated consultant, outsourced project manager and customer service representative in the form of your VCIO (Virtual Chief Information Officer) that handles everything from budget creation to project management in addition to meeting with you quarterly to review the prior three months activity on your network as well as making recommendations around what you can do to mitigate risk, increase efficiency or both.
