Some sponsorships are a logo on a banner. Art Beyond Limits was something more. ThrottleNet was proud to sponsor Willows Way’s recent Art Beyond Limits event, an evening that celebrated the creativity, talent, and independence of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the St. Louis region.

For our team, it was a reminder of why we show up for local nonprofits and why we plan to keep doing it.

About Willows Way: A Life Beyond Limits

Since 1989, Willows Way has supported adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County. It was one of the first agencies in Missouri to offer what is now called Individualized Supported Living, helping people live in their own homes with the support they choose.

Its mission is simple and powerful: to empower people to live a life beyond limits through personalized support and community engagement. Today, more than 280 Willows Way employees, from leadership to direct support professionals, help clients build independence, friendships, and new skills.

That focus on dignity and choice is exactly why Willows Way is featured on our Community Involvement page as one of the organizations we’re proudest to support.

Art Beyond Limits: Celebrating Creativity and Independence

Art Beyond Limits brought together Willows Way clients, families, staff, supporters, and community partners on October 15th at Willows Way. The evening put the spotlight where it belongs: on the artists themselves and the work they created.

Art has long been part of the Willows Way story. Through its arts programming, clients have worked alongside local artists to explore painting, photography, and other forms of expression; building skills, confidence, and a way to share their perspective with the world.

What was cool was the fact the event was fully funded by the sponsors and all proceeds went to the artist.

Every piece on display told a story of someone pushing past what might hold them back. That is what “life beyond limits” looks like in practice.

Why Sponsoring Art Beyond Limits Matters to Us

Keeping businesses running is our job. Keeping communities strong is our mission. Sponsoring Art Beyond Limits let us put that mission into action for an organization whose values line up closely with our own.

Willows Way builds its support around what each person wants, not a one-size-fits-all plan. We try to approach IT the same way: listen first, understand the people behind the technology, and tailor the support to fit. Seeing that philosophy in action at Art Beyond Limits was genuinely inspiring for our team.

Events like this also remind us that the St. Louis region is full of people doing quiet, essential work. Direct support professionals, volunteers, and families make independence possible every day. Sponsorship is one small way we can say thank you and help amplify that work.

How ThrottleNet Supports Nonprofits Year-Round

Art Beyond Limits is one part of a much bigger commitment. Across St. Louis and Kansas City, our team shows up for nonprofits through volunteer hours, sponsorships, and direct giving. Our Community Involvement page highlights 28 organizations we’ve stood alongside this past year, from St. Louis Arc and Lydia’s House to the Endangered Wolf Center and Old Newsboys.

We also know nonprofits run on tight budgets and can’t afford downtime any more than a business can. That’s why we offer:

  • Discounted managed IT and cybersecurity for qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations, with the same 90-second response time and 93% same-day resolution rate our business clients rely on.
  • Help stretching technology budgets by using our vendor relationships to source hardware, software licensing, and cloud services at discounted or donated rates.

We treat a nonprofit’s mission like a priority ticket. When their technology works, they can spend more time on the people they serve.

Thank You, Willows Way

Congratulations to Willows Way, its artists, and everyone who made Art Beyond Limits such a meaningful evening. We’re grateful to have played a small part, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the year ahead.
