ST. LOUIS, MO -- July 1, 2014 -- ThrottleNet, a fast growing IT firm based in St. Louis, MO has named Kevin Banks to the position of Virtual Chief Information Officer (VCIO). Banks will help clients of ThrottleNet leverage technology to become more efficient with business processes. He joins Todd Budde as the second on-staff VCIO to serve in that capacity.

Banks has some 16 years of experience in technology and project management.  He has worked as an IT Manager with Whitmire Micro-Gen Research Laboratories, a division of SC Johnson Wax, as well as other organizations.

A graduate of Baylor University,  Banks also attained a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, and a second Master’s degree in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies from The Hebrew University in Israel. He is certified in Project Management, versed in five languages and is a published author.

A native of St. Louis, Banks currently resides in Manchester, MO.
