ST. LOUIS, MO – July 11, 2017 – ThrottleNet announces it will sponsor the 2017 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk, 8:40am, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Creve Coeur Park in St. Louis. The event is hosted by St. Louis Urological Surgeons and Arch Cancer Care.

ThrottleNet will have its own team at the event which features a 5K run/walk, Kids’ Superhero Dash for Dad, a virtual Snooze for Dudes program and a family-friendly post-race celebration. Participants will receive tech shirts, free food, and the opportunity to connect with others who are impacted by prostate cancer.

The funds raised from 2017 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – St. Louis are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments, free prostate cancer testing, and educate men and families about prostate cancer.

“Through our work with St. Louis Urological Surgeons, our team at ThrottleNet understands the severity of prostate cancer. Statistics indicate that every 20 minutes another American male dies from the disease. That is almost 27,000 deaths per year. Yet early detection and advancements in treatment are helping to save lives. We are excited to have the opportunity to help create awareness and raise funds so more men can live a fuller, healthier life,” said George Rosenthal, President of ThrottleNet.
